Now it’s time for Fredsloppet 2026!
2025 was a record-breaking year – nearly 4,000 participants, an increase of close to 40 percent compared to the previous year, across more than 12 locations throughout Sweden. We reached new groups in society and together created a strong and positive manifestation for community, peace, solidarity, and justice. Together, we also increased the surplus to 390,500 SEK – another rise of almost 40 percent from the year before.
Fredsloppet events will take place between 15 August and 18 October 2026.

1985 to 2026: over 40 years of action for peace
Since 1985, Fredsloppet has supported a range of political and social justice causes. The first slogan was ”No to Star Wars – For a Nuclear-Free Nordic Region.” Over the years, themes have focused on ending apartheid in South Africa, supporting the Sahrawi people in Western Sahara, and raising funds for war-torn Bosnia. Today, much of our support goes to Palestine, under the slogan ”Support Palestine – Boycott Israel!”
